I have been meaning to post something of these delightful illustrations for some time now. Hilary Thackway’s simply stunning drawings have their own whimsical style. The way she can capture seemingly trivial moments with just the expression of a pretty face, or the stance of an irritated, or lonely figure is gratifying, to say the least. With this much talent, she is sure to make some splendid contributions to the artistic world. Hilary’s illustrations can be found featured in the Canberra-based zine, Elodi, for which she is the Creative Editor.
